Merry Christmas

Oh, I could add so many more pics of what our Christmas was- but you get the idea!! The girls had a blast and got everything they wanted- and more. Hope all of you had a wonderful Christmas!!

Children's Museum

One of my favorite places to go in St. Paul with kids- the Minnesota Children's Museum. It was fun to watch Norah explore all of the different exhibits- and when she asked if she could push some of the buttons, the answer was always yes- didn't have to worry about her making to much noise on a day like today- it was just we all needed- to let her play!!!

We are up in MN for Thanksgiving- what better way to kick it off than some rides at the Mall of America! I wasn't sure how Norah would like the fast ones, but soon realized- the faster the better!!

This was the last session of Norah's class. They were FINALLY able to use their sticks and pucks, instead of just working on skating fundamentals. Needless to say, she thought this was even more fun than just ice skating!!

Norah is the (only) girl in the pink jacket and red helmet-She loves the skating lessons, this is her 3rd session. The other kids that are skating circles around her have been skating for at least a few months...


At least she has learned how to get up after falling!!

We took Norah ice skating for the first time last night- she had a blast- smiled from ear to ear the whole time- when she fell, she giggled, then got up to try again. You can see from the video that towards the end she was really getting it- the only problem was that she was trying to go too fast- she would get ahead of herself, then fall...We took her to see if this was something she really would like- needless to say, we will be signing her up for hockey, since she LOVED the skating and wanted to go FASTER!!!!

The morning after our little get together, we were all a little tired. James, Kristy, and the kids came on saturday for the party but spent the night, since we live all the way out in the boonies!!

This is the little girl who was SOOOO afraid of the water and swimming at the beginning of June! Wow what a differencr, now we can't keep her out of hte pool!
