Relay for Life ~ Florence High School
This was an amazing event! The ceremonies were all very moving ~ We wish we could have stayed the whole night. I made shirts for the girls, and cried when they put them on and wore them proudly! Maybe someday there will be a cure for Cancer - even Pancreatic ~ so nobody has to go through what my Mom did, and suffer through the pain that she did.

Disney on Ice!!

We went to Disney on Ice - the Princess Classics with our friends Evelyn and Marie, and McKinley and Marlena. Since we haven't been to Disneylend yet, I thought this would be fun - Norah had a blast (Maya got to stay home with a babysitter)- she couldn't believe how she could could REALLY SEE the Princesses on the ice!! Wow- I guess now I really can't wait to see her face when we DO take her to Disney!

We are Sooo proud of you, Norah!!

The Honor Roll Award - This is the ceremony for her 3rd quarter achievements. She received the Scholar of Distinction, which means she didn't get anything below a 90% for any of her grades. She has done a great job this year!!

The Eagle Pride Award is given to one student in every class once a quarter. Norah received the award for 3rd quarter - It is not only an academic award, but also for showing kindness and caring, as well as showing effort! We couldn't be more proud!

• One of our newest goals is to get in shape- not only by eating better, but by becoming more active on a regular basis - So on one of my Wednesdays off, we decided to hike up F Mountain - it didn't look so hard from the bottom, but half way up, I realized it was a bit more of challenge than expected!
