Our trip to San Diego

We needed a little r & r - just some family time before Scott headed back to work. The drive to San Diego should really only be about 5 hours from our house, but with 2 little ones, it turned into about 6. The temps were great- around 70 the whole time. Norah had a wonderful time at Sea World and has informed us that SHE wants to ride on Shamu. She also LOVED the beach. I see a few more trips to Cali in our future.

My Dad came to visit- Norah had a great time, my Dad took her out shopping and she got to pick out her own birthday presents (you were brave, Dad)- the report was that Norah acted very well. Also, it was the first time for him seeing Maya. There was a lot of time that she just wanted to be held, and my Dad was there to do just that-

What a fun day- Norah had SOOOO much fun at her birthday party- we had it at the local park, where there is a splash pad & nice, covered picnic area. Thanks to everyone who came and made it a special day for Norah- she had a lot of her friends there!
